HungHau Holdings joined hand to support Agent Orange victims and the poor disabled

Following the call from Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross, roughly 1000 staffs of HungHau Holdings, including 500 staffs, lecturers, and students of Van Hien University, participated in the charity event called “The 10th Walking for Agent Orange Victims and the Poor Disabled” at Dam Sen Park on 6th August 2016.

Most of employers and employees of HungHau Holdings, along with the lecturers and students of Van Hien University have arrived at Dam Sen Park, getting ready to be a part of the event.

“This is a definitely meaningful event, illustrating the Vietnamese tradition of gratitude to the families affected by and Agent Orange on Vietnam War and support the poor disabled physically and mentally”- said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, CEO of HungHau Holdings. Therefore, not only I but also the other HungHau Holdings staffs attended the event very actively. In addition to the supporting amount of 44 million VND, each employee, lecturers, and students joining that event, the company also contributes 11,000 VND/person to the Fund for sharing the social responsibility with the Agent Orange victims and poor disable.

For years, HungHau Holdings have always been interested in doing social responsibilities, supporting the community by various activities such as giving charity houses and scholarships for poor students and providing free healthcare, etc. The company has spent nearly 3 billion VND for different charity activities and HungHau Heart Foundation, contributing to the sustainable development of the society.
